The science behind Auro’s classes

EPOC, also known as “Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption,” refers to the elevation in metabolism (rate that calories are burned) after an exercise session ends. If you work your body at the right intensity, your body will work harder to recover the oxygen lost during the exercise & will still burn calories after you finish exercising!

Heart rate zones

Auro’s HIIT classes have been designed to put you in Zone 4 (80-90% effort) for at least 20% of your session. For example around 6 minutes in a 30-minute class.

This means that you will continue to burn calories even after you finish & you don’t need to spend hours & hours working out.

Auro’s intelligent technology

Auro’s interactive technology delivers your heart rate data & performance metrics in real-time. From the moment you pair your device, your workout metrics are shown on screen.
